QuickDrop - Share from Android 2.4.1

QuickDrop offers a straightforward solution for transferring multimedia files, text documents, and other data between Android devices and Apple products such as iPhone, iPad, or Mac within the same Wi-Fi network. The transfer process is integrated with Quick Share, ensuring that all received files are automatically stored within the Files app. Notably, the data is transmitted through end-to-end encryption over Wi-Fi, eliminating reliance on cloud services and enhancing privacy.

To facilitate file sharing from an iPhone or iPad to a Mac or Android device, users can select the "Share" option or tap the share icon on a desired file. By choosing "QuickDrop" from the share menu—accessed via the "More" option if necessary—files can be sent seamlessly. If QuickDrop does not appear immediately, users can enable it by editing their sharing options and toggling QuickDrop on.

Devices compatible with QuickDrop that are connected to the same network will automatically appear within the app. Alternatively, users can manually open QuickDrop, select a device from the list, and choose files directly from the Files app, photos, videos, or clipboard contents for transfer.

An acknowledgment notification will appear on the recipient device, prompting acceptance or rejection of incoming files. To receive files, simply open the QuickDrop application on the target device.
